This has to be the most active couple of weeks I've ever had. Stress, stress, stress, DD, stress, stress, stress, get sick, stress, stress, stress, take SATs, stress, stress, stress, take finals. I have a cold now. Either a cold or some very consistent allergies, which could be preferable, because it might not peak. I'm hoping that it doesn't get too much worse before summer starts and that it will fade away or plateau in the next three days. Nothing's worse than taking a test with a headache and a stuffy nose.

I'M TURNING EIGHTEEN!

If you send me something through dA, I promise I won't open it till the day of my birthday, July 23. No one should send me any wine. I won't be able to drink it for three years. Bummer. You can draft me though! Totally... preferable... >.>

I WANT THOSE PERKS. What perks could you mean, `WineWriter? I don't know, reader, hmmmmmmmm.... (I'm not allowed to use that emoticon!)

In less hyper-active aging news, I took my SAT today. I have no idea how I did, but I feel good about it, whatever score it may be. I wasn't too nervous, and it went smoothly enough. Six hours of test, then done... and now finals. But summer is so soon! It's been tough to study with freedom so close. I got an 83% on my history final, which I'm relieved about. I'm pretty sure my teacher was lenient in his grading, because I know that I could have easily gotten in the 70s.

My mother's friend has "commissioned," me to paint her a white flower on canvas. It'll be my summer project. I'm in no way as confidant about my art as I am about my writing, but who am I to say no? She says that she'll buy the material and if she likes the result, she'll buy the painting. So, sure, I am willing. I've wanted painting material for forever. I just hope she knows what she's getting herself into, because it's not such a cheap hobby. It's not overly expensive, like a computer, but it's still something to have another person pay that. It could hinder me from picking the best material. I've used bad paints and brushes, and it's awful. I predict that if it's too much, my mom and her friend will split the cost.

I'll be more available when finals end. I would love to talk to you guys. Feel free just to strike up a conversation whenever. Especially if we haven't chatted.

Some of you who read my writing and journals may have noticed that I've only uploaded a couple of things into my gallery in the last few months. Summer starts next week, but in that next week I will have both my finals and SATs. Today I got home from doing a horrendous job on my history final and I was feeling very upset with myself. Then, I log onto dA and see that Mermaid got a DD!

It truly brightened my perspective after the last couple of days I've had. Especially after last night, when I stayed up so late trying to cram (which I know does not work for me.) I may have day after day of finals and tests, but now at least I have something happy to remember from this period of the year.

Thank you so much ^LadyLincoln for giving me the DD, and I really appreciate the comments and faves. I will respond to all the comments in due time, probably periodically over the next week and a half. My finals end next Wednesday! I almost have no time to stress for the SATs. Anyway, thank you so much. I have many plans for the summer and I will update on everything as soon as summer starts.

Wednesday 3rd - Spanish final
Thursday 4th - History final (And DD!)
Friday 5th - Free Day, since SATs are tomorrow (School switched around the schedule for the juniors taking SATs)
Saturday 6th - SATs
Sunday 7th - Studying
Monday 8th - Science final
Tuesday 9th - English final
Wednesday - Math final (Last one!)
